All is quiet on Temple Street tonight, Whitey #5 stopped by to review for our Engineering Statistics exam tomorrow
and my roommate Wilky #25 cooked himself quite a feast consisting of
shrimp, scallops, and a pretty good looking twice baked potato. Now
were cooling down for the night watching some Sabre's preseason hockey.
It is giving us the itch since were so close to getting back into some
SUNYAC "meat-grinder" hockey. You can even tell the boys are getting
anxious by the loudness of our skate sessions. Everyday closer to the season
the boys are becoming more vocal and energetic, calling for passes and
cheering each other on. We even got guys sacrificing their bodies
already blocking shots, for instance senior Tyler Matecki #22 showing
the freshman dedication by blocking a blistering slap shot from Mitch
Kaufmann. Currently Mateck is in a walking boot, but the heart of the
play stays with the boys.
Can't wait for the season to start!
Hang Loose,
JD #15
