Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year greeting from your three favorite sophomores.....

Nick Harper, Oskar Gerhardson and Jamie Young
Hi everybody, Oskar Gerhardson signing in again for the last blog of 2015.

This weekend we finished off the year with two wins down at Steele Hall. Great way to end the year and I think all of us are pretty excited about finishing up school here next week and getting a well deserved break.

As for me, I'm going home to Sweden and I can't wait to get home and see my family and friends again.

I'll leave you with a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year greeting from your three favorite sophomores.

It's been a good first half of the season for the boys.....

Hi there hockey fans,

Well it's been a good first half of the season for the boys. Ending with a .500 win percentage we are rolling right into break and poised for a great J-term and second half of the season. With two good wins against Daniel Webster this weekend the boys are able to get a little hop in their step going into finals week as well.
It's been a good semester getting to know all the new freshmen, taking new classes, and all the good times we've had so far.
Just wanted to reach out to all the fans who have been coming out and supporting us at all our home games, we really appreciate it and it gives us a great jump to see everyone cheering us on. Maybe we could get a couple of those great fans on the road sometime!!

Also just wanted wish everybody a happy and safe holidays!! That's it till next semester folks, talk soon!!

Cully and Bourney make quite the tandem in that booth......

Mike Freeman again here, and man are your Devils and I busy. This week has been filled with final exam preparation and practice in anticipation for two games at Steele Hall this weekend, so unfortunately, I could not work out a time to sit down with one of the boys to film an episode of Fredonia Hockey Blog Talk, but I assure you, there are some good things I have in the works that are coming.
This Wednesday, I got to do something that I’ve wanted to do for a long time. John Cullen, as some of you may know, is not only our goalie coach, but also has a campus radio show called “The Good, The Bad, The Cully” that airs at 12:05 on Wednesday afternoons. I had the privilege of joining him, and co-host (and star center) Taylor Bourne for the entire hour long show, and boy did I have fun! Cully certainly has his ducks in a row when it comes to putting on his show, and man can that guy do just that. Him and Bourney make quite the tandem in that booth; so much so that I made sure to stay out of the way at points so I didn’t interrupt the chemistry they’ve established after many shows together. But all in all, I am extremely appreciative of those two guys letting me sit in and talk hockey with them, and I hope to be able to do it again incredibly soon.
Make sure to tune into “The Good,The Bad, The Cully” Wednesdays at 12:05 PM on your campus radio station, 89.5 WDVL.

Having said all that, it’s the Holiday Season, my absolute favorite time of year, so whether you’re lighting the menorah, decorating the Christmas tree or setting up the Festivus pole and preparing for “The Airing of Grievances” and “The Feats of Strength,” have a happy and safe Holiday!

It is a stressful time for all the boys right now with exams coming up.....

Kyle Jelinski here,

It is a stressful time for all the boys right now with exams coming up and it being the last week of classes. A lot of studying and time being spent in the library here. However with exams come the end of the semester and Christmas break.
It will be nice to go home and get a break from school and hockey and spend time with family. A lot of ups and down this semester but all and all I had a great first semester of college and am excited for the ones to come.

Till next time!

Racing standard bred horses is our family's hobby....

Hello bloggers this is junior defenseman Zach White here for another edition of the
Blog.

Today I would like to tell you a bit about a hobby my family enjoys back home,
This is racing standard bred horses or otherwise known as harness racing horses.
Ever since I was a little kid I have been around horses and a barn.  My grandfather
and father raced horses for around 20 years and now my oldest brother John is starting to get into the sport.

In September John and my grandfather bought a yearling trotter named Jack Kelly
at the Morrisville State Equine sale.  A yearling trotter simply means the horse is one year
old and trotter refers to the stride the horse runs with.  A trotter’s stride the horse’s legs
move in diagonal pairs while it is running.

Over Thanksgiving break me and teammate Hunter Long had the chance to
make it over to the track near my house where my brother keeps Jack and helped
him out with the horse for the day.  These horses are athletes just as us hockey
players, they have to eat a fairly strict diet and workout usually 6 days a week and
train once twice a week.  My brother has been preparing the horse to get to the
races in the summer for the first time when he turns two he is eligible to race.

Hopefully we will make it to the winner’s circle a few times this summer!

Until next time Merry Christmas everyone and a happy New Year.

Frankie Hart here in a busy last week before exams!

Hello blog world,

Frankie Hart here in a busy last week before exams! The semester is coming to an end very quickly which is very surprising to me considering it feels like we all arrived here not that long ago. With final exams just around the corner everyone is very busy turning in papers and projects. My classes are going very well with the majority of my study time will be going towards my psychology class.

On a different note, the weather does not feel very much like Christmas time with the lack of cold and snow. Most people are fairly happy with it but I must say it isn't getting me into the Christmas mood. But I know once I cross the border and drive my 9 hours north it will be a winter wonderland, like it should be!

Come support your Blue Devils this Friday and Saturday at Steele Hall! These will be our last two games for several weeks, so come see the boys in blue!

Our strength and belief in our culture is helping us get closer and closer each and everyday......

Hello again Fredonia followers,

Junior forward Marcus Ortiz on the blog here again. We are all just recuperating from a  long and heart-breaking weekend. The bus ride back and lazy Sunday was spent doing a lot of reflecting on the weekend. When you go through a weekend like we just did its easy to wonder "what could I have done better?" "why didn't I score on that?", letting these things plague your mind and linger around for a day or so is natural.

With that said it seems as if the magnitude of the loss has only created a hungrier and more determined group of guys going into this week. As a team we have been as close as ever, leaning on each other for support and positive reinforcement going into this weekend's task. I couldn't be more excited to bounce back this week with the boys and end the first semester on a positive winning note. We all believe that we are far from done and far from where we can be. But our strength and belief in our culture is helping us get closer and closer each and everyday.

EVERYBODY ROPES, EVERYBODY RIDES!!!

Almost done with my first semester of college.....

Shawn Geary here hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving! Looking forward to the upcoming weekend with two home games against Daniel Webster. Almost done with my first semester of college and looking forward to spending a couple weeks at home for Christmas. Chemistry is starting to look like a different language.........

Rich DeMarco back here on the blog. Just got back to campus after a roady to Cortland and Oswego. The outcome of both games may not have been what we wanted but the boys battled hard and showed we definitely are heading in the right direction. Now that we are back on campus its back to reality and preparing for finals. Chemistry is starting to look like a different language so I’ll be in the library the majority of the time this upcoming week. Only two weeks left of studying hard and my first semester of freshman year will be over. Can’t say I’ll be too excited for next semester classes to come but I’ll definitely be looking forward to getting back to conference games and getting back in the win column.
That’s it for my time on the blog, hope everyone has a good week.

a pretty special weekend........

Hi everyone,

Had a pretty special weekend that meant a lot to me. I got to play against my best friend and basically my brother. And was also reunited with my 2nd momma, 2nd pop, 2nd grandma, grandpa and so on. It was great seeing what I can call family.  In the summer we work maintenance at the golf course together from 6am to 4pm. Then we run our "Long & Lauer" lawn care business after that. If we aren't to beat up by the sun we somehow manage to get a workout in even if it's just a short one. Our day usually ends around 8ish and then we will sit back and relax all night till 1 or 2 am and do it all over again.  He is a sophomore at Cortland. Pretty big, stay at home defensemen and seems to be happy at there. I'm kind of glad we didn't end up at the same college because either we would both fail out or we would kill each other in those 4 years. So being separated increases our chances of being successful and creates that brother to brother rivalry we all know about. He is a bigger part of my life than he probably knows, and no one knows me better than him. You know he's family when he is at our house eating my MY cookies or having breakfast with my momma and pop...even when I'm not around. We have tied 3 out of 3 times we played each other in SUNY play, giving up 3 goals late in the 3rd...to him especially really just was like being punched in the throat about a thousand times. The summer bragging rights are still up for grabs and that is one of the most powerful things a brother can have.
I made him smell and taste my stinky, wet gloves as I gave him a few face washes and he popped my bucket off just to see my smiling face. We both had a couple laughs as the refs thought we had both just committed a murder or something after the play. We both grinned at each other as we went towards the box...and the whole time I was thinking, you just wait till this summer when your dead asleep and I'm going to finish the job with a couple haymakers!!

Mike Lowe, thank you for the chocolate milk and Gatorades after the game.

Everyone have a safe and blessed holiday

Looking for a big weekend........

Happy Thursday,

Hello everyone its Mackenzie McAvoy tuning into today's portion of the blog. I hope everyone is having a great week, and also looking forward to the weekend as myself. This weekend the boys travel up to Cortland and Oswego, and are looking for a big weekend to climb back up into the standings since this year it's a very close and tight race for the playoffs. For myself my last two weeks of classes within the semester consist studying for a lot of exams that I have this Friday or which will be tomorrow, since teachers are trying to get in the last grades before the semester ends.

This year has really flown by since we only have 4 games left in the semester and then the Holiday break begins, which I know all the boys are looking forward to, since some of them don't get to see their families all that often through the break.
Anyways I really have to get back to studying and finishing up some projects a presentations for the rest of the week. until next time bloggers.

It has been a really fun and giving semester but it has gone by so fast......

Hi everybody, Daniel here for my fourth blog of the year!
It is only two weeks left of my last collegiate fall semester and it feels really good. It has been a really fun and giving semester but it has gone by so fast. I am finally over my scare to speak in front of the class which means that I am more confident than ever going into finals week. All my work is due during finals week, I have one final and two presentations so I am preparing for my presentations both in class and on my spare time.
On Friday night the puck drops in Cortland at 7 P.M. and we are bringing those two points with us to Oswego.
That is all for me, until next time have a great Christmas!

The Fredonia Blue Devils have been working their tail ends off......

Well folks we are almost to the Christmas Break it seems like and oh boy has it being going fast.

The Fredonia Blue Devils have been working their tail ends off every game and practice  in order to show the league that we are not underdogs, we are true competitors and we have been doing exactly that.  We thrive on knowing people think we are the underdogs and love to prove them wrong.

This weekend is a huge match up against Cortland and Oswego and both games are much needed victories.  As for now though we only have the Cortland game on our minds because that's where we start.  Monday's practice will start us off on the right track and like I have said in my previous blogs, it "sets the tone baby".  These next couple weeks are going to be hard grinding weeks with hockey and exams coming up.  I believe the Blue Devils will come out on top in both categories.

It was good to get back on the ice ...........

After having some days off for Thanksgiving break it was good to get back on the ice for a couple practices and get back to work with our eyes set on Cortland.  It was really good to have a break from school and just relax without worrying about classes, but as we know it can't last forever and we are back to school tomorrow.
I can't believe that I have 2 weeks of classes left in the semester it has definitely gone by quickly to say the least. Well after I get a few chores done today, I will be taking my last day of relaxation and then getting a good night sleep before school again.

We can't wait to get into our next game........

Hey there folks, hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving!!  I was able to spend the break here in beautiful Fredonia along with my good friends Taylor Bourne and Marcus Ortiz. We whipped up quite the feast on Thanksgiving, even though two of us already celebrated the real (Canadian)Thanksgiving in October.

In other news it is great to be back with the boys and on the ice. We've had three great practices and it's been very easy to tell that we can't wait to get into our next game. The team is very sour from our last weekend and is ready to right the ship with our final four games before Christmas break. We are really coming back focused and ready to accomplish a goal. As a senior it's so great to see such a determined group of guys that are ready to help us win during our final year at Fredonia.

Thanks for your time and talk to y'all soon! #25 Ryan Wilkinson

You really begin to appreciate these times of the year especially the home cooked meals....

Kauf here for my 4th blog installment of the year!
After a relaxing 5 day break, the boys are back in town from enjoying time with family and friends and of course, Thanksgiving dinners for most. Being in college for almost 4 years now you really begin to appreciate these times of the year especially the home cooked meals, although it looked like the fellas could have used one less piece of turkey on the ice today!
With that being said, after the one ice time today and a double header tomorrow it's time for my beat up body to get some rest!

Cheers,
Kauf

Don't forget to come out and support your Blue Devils......

Good morning Fredonia, boys are looking for a come back effort tonight at home vs. Geneso. Last night the boys fell short on a late goal in Brockport to fall 4-3. We have forgotten about last night and have focused our energy on tonight's battle. Don't forget to come out and support your Blue Devils tonight as we look to go into the break on a high.

We have a huge weekend....

Hey everyone, freshman, defenseman, Ben Casale here for my second blog of the year. The hockey season is underway! We have a huge weekend against Brockport and Geneseo starting tonight. All the boys are focused to get the job done and then go home to enjoy a nice well deserved Thanksgiving break. And the only thing better than Thanksgiving dinner is being able to celebrate it after a couple big SUNYAC wins.
Well it's time for me to head over to the rink and get ready for our battle tonight in Brockport. Until next time!!

Polachek wants the boys to go on break on a high note....

The boys are gearing up for break here at Fredonia. After months of continuous schoolwork and hockey. A nice long week of leisure awaits us after the weekend. However we have two huge games coming up this weekend which is everyone's primary focus. After a solid showing last weekend, let's see if we can continue the momentum and really enjoy the break after a couple of big W's.

That's all from Youngblood today.......

Hey there folks!

Bogs checking back in here on this fine November Wednesday! No complaints about this weather, although I am looking forward to some snow, seeing as I am Canadian and I was raised on the ol' powder there.
Also excited for pumpkin spiced everything season to be over so Rivera can stop "basic fan-girling" over his daily trip to Starbucks for his latte.
Boys are coming off a big high from last weekend, gotta ride 'er through to keep the confidence flying. We got a good thing going on here, gotta keep the ball rolling!
That's all from Youngblood today.
Stay Classy,

It is a beautiful day here at 61 degrees..........

It is a beautiful day here at 61 degrees, Coming off of a weekend sweep against Morrisville. With a the break coming up this week is the most important one we have had. The best way to enjoy the break, will be after we get another sweep against Brockport and Geneseo. Its going to be a battle of a week but getting 4 points will make it worth it!

Hardest working team in the SUNYAC .........

Hardest working team in the SUNYAC

Hey everyone. Hope everyone has had as good as a weekend as us Blue Devils. Coming off a HUGE home and home sweep against Morrisville, the boys are rollin. This past week Coach challenged us to be the hardest working team in the SUNYAC. Being the hardest working team in the SUNYAC starts everyday when each of us steps onto that ice ,whether its for practice or a game. We proved to ourselves this weekend that we are the hardest working team out there. We need to continue to be the hardest working team to continue our success and move to the top. To be the best, you need to beat the best and that is what we are going for.

Looking forward to a hard week of practice and getting ready for a huge weekend before a short break for Turkey day.
Well thats all I have for you today!
Hope everyone has a great week!

SWEEEEPPPP!

Luke Rivera back on the blog here.

This weekend was something to remember. We proved a lot of people wrong and I know that a lot more people are afraid to play us right now. Not only did we prove people wrong but we proved to ourselves that we can do it. Playing and suiting up with these guys has never felt so great. It's truly something special we have as a team. To everyone who came out and supported us this weekend thank you and we couldn't of done it without you all. There is nothing better than to finish up a sweep at home after being down and coming back. Everyone battled and stuck together and that's what it takes. I hope everyone had a great weekend and how can you not enjoy some Sunday football on a gorgeous day like this?

Have a good one!
Until next time. SWEEEEPPPP!

a huge weekend sweeping Morrisville.........

Greetings once again, Sammy here with another Fredonia blog.
The boys are rolling after a huge weekend sweeping Morrisville in a home and home battle. The boys fought hard to bring 4pts to the standings. We have been working extremely hard to start a roll and we have done just that. We are hungry and ready to keep it going. The lockerroom is electric and everyone is in it for the same reason.
The Blue Devils are ready to be a force to be reckoned with.
Everybody Ropes! Everybody Rides.
Until next time, have a good day!

You can see and feel the determination in the locker room..........

#10 Daniel Mainello checking in again,

As you Devil fans probably know the season has started and is moving fast. This past weekend the team and I made our way up to the north country to battle two tough opponents, SUNY Plattsburgh and SUNY
Potsdam. Unfortunately, we came up short in both games.

We had a long bus ride back to Fredonia to think about the upcoming week of practice and the 2 huge games coming up this weekend against Morrisville. We know how important every single game is this year. So as you can bet we are all fired up to make up those 4 points we gave away this past weekend. You can see and feel the determination in the locker room.

Don’t forget to make it out to our home game Saturday night at 7 in Steele Hall. As always we appreciate the support from the fans.

Let’s Go Devils!

Yesterday was Fathers Day back home in Sweden...........

Hi everybody, sophomore Oskar Gerhardson signing in again. Once again Monday is here and a new week awaits. Last weekend is in the rear mirror, we are only looking forward and now the focus lies on getting ready for two new SUNYAC games on Friday and Saturday. There are some things we need to tighten up and work on here during the week to make sure we don't go empty handed from another weekend.

Also want to send a quick Happy Fathers day to my Dad since yesterday was Fathers Day back home in Sweden. He is actually coming into town on Friday so I'm really looking forward to see him since I haven't seen him in a few months now, and I'm sure he will enjoy seeing a couple of games live instead of sitting up watching a stream in the middle of the night.

That's all for me, take care everybody!

Happy Movember Hockey Fans......

Happy Movember Hockey Fans,

Jamie Young checking in here for another blog post on this young season.

Well, the boys had a tough one this weekend up in the North Country. Dropping two games this weekend to Plattsburgh and Potsdam was far from ideal but its back to work on Monday for two against Morrisville this Friday and Saturday. The boys know how important winning SUNYAC points are every night, so I am confident that our close knit group will be back on Monday with a little fire in our belly. Even though I am a huge Texas A&M fan and my Mother would not be happy with me quoting Nick Saban, Alabama's head football coach, he once said: "One thing about championship teams is that they are resilient. No matter what is thrown at them, no matter how deep the hole, they find a way to bounce back and overcome adversity." - I know this team can and will bounce back, so be there this weekend to watch us against the Mustangs.

Finally, I just wanted to let everyone know about a cause some the boys of the team are supporting, and that is Movember. As many of you know last month was Breast cancer awareness month and we do our Pink the Rink game later in the season. But the boys wanted to bring attention to Men's health this November. In an effort to do this we have joined up with the Movember Foundation and started to grow, or at least attempt to, our mustaches and beards in an effort to raise awareness. It is a great cause that brings to light the fact that 1 in 7 men will be diagnosed with Prostate Cancer in their lives and also encourages all men to live a healthier more active lifestyle. I will link our team page below, go check out the cause and help spread awareness!!
Well hockey fans, I am signing off for now, hope you can enjoy the last bit of your weekend and have as great a week we will on the ice,
- Jamie Young #3

Time has gone by quick here but I am definitely enjoying it......

#15 Zach Pease checking in again.

The boys are getting after a huge game tonight, and are looking to bounce back after last nights loss. The boys have been making a lot of progress the past couple weeks, and we’re really starting to come together as a team. I am enjoying the process and am looking forward to contribute more.

Classes have been going well but are going to continue to get harder as exams are just over a month away. Time has gone by quick here but I am definitely enjoying it.

Go Blue Devils!

There have been a lot of firsts for me as I continue my hockey career..........

Hi everyone, Kyle here

Last time I checked in the season was fast approaching now we are in full force as we have had 4 games thus far. We got off to decent start could have been better but there were a lot of good things to come out of it and I am confident that we will only get better as a team. There have been a lot of firsts for me as I continue my hockey career and start my college one. Some of these firsts include playing in my first NCAA game and scoring my first NCAA goal in our home opener against southern New Hampshire to help our team win the game. It was truly an honor to be able to play and score which will hopefully be the first of many and I am humbled to call this team my home for the next 4 years.

Till next time,

We are the closest group I have ever been apart of..........

Hello blog world!
Frankie Hart here with his third blog of the year. After our first weekend of games I am very confident we will have a very successful year, let alone a great weekend up North! We are the closest group I have ever been apart of and it feels great to take the ice with a group of guys striving for the same selfless goals! I am very excited to take the bus up to Plattsburgh tomorrow and get prepared for the game on Friday night.

It always feels like a blessing missing school for hockey purposes but being a student athlete we can't forget about the student part of things. Being away we need to put even more emphasis on the details concerning our courses. I personally will be reading some philosophy and psychology on the bus trip to stay on top of things!
I would like to wish everyone a great end of the week as well as an even better weekend! I know my parents will be supporting the boys in blue, watching the games online.

Until next time!

A fat cat who likes to destroy our garbage and mess with us, leaving "precious gifts" on top of my AC unit.......

Hello all,

Marcus Ortiz, junior forward #28 for your Fredonia Blue Devils Hockey team checking in here for today's blog. Everyone is getting ready to head up to North country tomorrow to face Plattsburgh and Potsdam this weekend, the vibe around the locker room is good, we are doing a lot of good things and the boys are really excited for the challenges coming up.

In other news at the house of 40 center, we have had an interesting battle lately with an unwelcome visitor we call "kitty". This is a fat cat who likes to destroy our garbage and mess with us, leaving "precious gifts" on top of my AC unit. after many different plans, traps and contraptions to catch this bandit, it still eludes us... we are at a breaking point with kitty, if you drive by our house you may catch me standing on the porch with night vision goggles and a BB gun looking for kitty.

Till next time folks!!

Great seeing all the fans coming out to support us...........

Shawn Geary with his daily limit of ducks.
Shawn Geary back on the blog here! Got off to a good start to the season with a big win at the home opener against Southern New Hampshire. Great seeing all the fans coming out to support us for the game. The tie against Buffalo State the night before wasn't exactly what we wanted but the boys played great in really physical game and it was the response we hoped to have.  Coming up this weekend we have two huge games to look forward to on the road. Will be building off our recent victory and  come home with four points. We have been working hard on the ice everyday in practice in preparation for our upcoming games but when we get some free time Hunter and Whitey and I like getting out to a local farm to do some duck hunting. We've been having some pretty good luck lately!

we dominated with our speed and physical play..........

Hey everyone, Rich DeMarco back on the blog. This past weekend was a special one for me, playing in my first two college hockey games.  Coming out with three of four points is definitely something to feel good about as a team.  Even though it would have been nice to beat my hometown Buff State, a tie feels just as good as we dominated with our speed and physical play. Coming back home to defend Steele Hall in front of the home crowd for the first time was an experience I’ll never forget. It was an amazing feeling to get the first win with this group of guys and also getting my first college assist. We may be the underdog in everyone game we play this year, but to me that just sets up for a better story to tell.
Along with a big weekend to the start of the hockey season, Halloween added to the fun.  Even though it’s always better as a kid going around getting free candy, it was still a very fun night dressing up with the guys for my first Halloween here at Fredonia.  That’s it for my time here on the blog, hope everyone has a good week.

I'd like to salute my brothers that went to war with me this past weekend....

Hey everyone,

Hunter here for another blog. To start off, I'd like to salute my brothers that went to war with me this past weekend in Buff State and at home for one. It's been a different locker room for a couple months and it translated into our on ice play this past weekend.
Big shouts for the freshman stepping up and getting their first college points this weekend, its a memory that will never fade away and I'm happy for y'all. Big test this weekend against 2 respectable teams, but I think they will respect us a little more after we get through with them. Thinking this to myself the other day when I was hunting...If I can get an education, play college hockey, and duck hunt all within a 10 mile radius, then I think I was led in the right direction by the boss man upstairs. I definitely owe him a couple soda pops after the journey he has taken me on so far. Now it's time to beat Whitey in NHL like usual...(If I skunk him, he has dishes for the next week).

SUNDAY FUN DAY..........

Hello everyone, its junior, forward, Mackenzie McAvoy tuning into today's portion of the blog. I hope everyone had a good weekend and was safe out there during Halloween. Also to add to that as well as a successful weekend as our team did.

This past weekend we played our rival Buffalo State Bengals on Friday in which we ended up tying 1-1. That was a very well fought battle our team put up against a veteran team. Everyone that night did what they had to do, and played for each other. It felt good again to be playing real hockey games since last year we ended early February.

On Saturday night everyone played a heck of game from start to finish, and in doing so we ended up with a successful 7-3 victory over Southern New Hampshire. All the boys were rolling that night and again played with a lot of heart and passion.

We have a very tight group working together day in and out, and were very excited to be playing with each other and an opportunity to compete with each other as well on the ice.

This Sunday I will be taking care of all the bumps and bruises I have obtained over the past two nights, since they were both battles and you really have to give everything you got to be able to compete and win hockey games. Also with a lot of icing myself I will be watching a lot of football and catching up on any homework that I missed.

Also a shout out goes to freshmen, Kyle Jelinski for getting his first goal along with Luke Rivera, and also to goaltender Eric Bogart on his first NCAA win.

Anyways I hope everyone has a great Monday, and for all those kids out there I hope you guys got a lot of candy from trick or treating last night. Till next time.

The day is finally here!!!!

Hi everybody, Daniel here again!

The day is finally here!!!! Today is the day when the boys are going up to Buffalo to get our first two SUNYAC points for the season. We have been working hard this whole spring and summer, got back to school and had one hell of a good captain’s skate, and after two weeks on the ice with the coaching staff. I can say with confidence that these Blue Devils are ready for this season!!

The puck drops at 7pm in the ice arena of Buffalo State, it is only 45 min away so there is no excuse to not come and support us!

Until next time,

WE ARE SO CLOSE..............

Here is my blog.

Hello everyone. WE ARE SO CLOSE! Just one day till game day number 1 for the fellas. It’s practically Christmas Eve for us! We have all been grinding day in and day out getting ready to make a huge statement to the rest of the SUNYAC, and it starts tomorrow when we take the ice against Buffalo State. We are ready to take a lot of people by surprise. Every doubter or critic of us here at Fredonia is just fuel to our fire. Our time to shine will be from the puck drop tomorrow at 7pm, right up until that final buzzer sounds. I know I speak for the rest of the guys when I say tomorrow couldn’t come any sooner.

Keep an eye on us Blue Devils, because this year is sure to be a fun one.

Till next time,
