J-Term is a time where the winter athletes come back a short time after the holidays to play their respective sport. Being back on campus playing hockey once or twice a day gives us players a lot of extra free time throughout the day.
For Christmas this year I received a golf chipping net along with foam golf practice balls and decided to bring it to pass some time in the dorms. Some leisurely chipping turned into chipping contests which now has turned into something much more elaborate. Considering we have the whole dorm building to ourselves, we now turned Hendrix hall into a 9-hole par 34 golf course with the net being the hole. Some holes stretch to over 75 yards down the hall.
All in all its safe to say it's still good half weather here in snowy fredonia
