Junior forward Marcus
Ortiz on the blog here again. We are all just recuperating from a
long and heart-breaking weekend. The bus ride back and lazy Sunday
was spent doing a lot of reflecting on the weekend. When you go through
a weekend like we just did its easy to wonder "what could I have done
better?" "why didn't I score on that?", letting these things plague your
mind and linger around for a day or so is natural.
With
that said it seems as if the magnitude of the loss has only created a
hungrier and more determined group of guys going into this week. As a
team we have been as close as ever, leaning on each other for support
and positive reinforcement going into this weekend's task. I couldn't be
more excited to bounce back this week with the boys and end the first
semester on a positive winning note. We all believe that we are far from
done and far from where we can be. But our strength and belief in our
culture is helping us get closer and closer each and everyday.
