This weekend are a big couple games for us as we take on the Mustangs
of Morrisville. The focus and determination that we have for these games
are high because these are huge points that we need for our playoff
push.
Friday is a very important game, but
Saturday
touches the hearts of most players on our team. We play our Pink the
Rink game which is a game for Breast Cancer. This is the one and only
game that we can say that we're playing for the names on our back more
so then the one on the front. On all of the jerseys we have names of
people who have been affected by this horrible disease. When I say that
this game touches the heart of some players is because there are guys
that are wearing the jersey of a loved one they may have lost, or
someone that beat it. This game is special because we are honoring the
true heroes of this world. The ones who fought day in and day out, and
the ones who treat everyday like a gift. Personally when I have myself I
bad day I think of people like the ones on our jerseys. They inspire
each one of us. So to all you blog readers, grab your ticket and come
out to this event where we honor the true heroes of today.
