Hello again all,
Today I am going to tell you a little bit about fan favorite
# 26, Hunter Long. Many of us here at
the dorms know Hunter as “Johnny Deere” or as I call him “Johnny Rocket”. Hailing from Tennessee, Johnny Deere can be
seen roaming around in a big green, Chevy truck with his Ducks Unlimited window
sticker on the back. Recently on our
extra time in the dorms he has taught me how to use a turkey mouth call, so if
anyone hears any odd noises, its most likely us. Come spring we will be making a trip up to my
house for the opening of turkey season come may 1st . Johnny Deere, along with his sidekick, Chris
Eiserman, and I are counting down the days to Spring Break when we can get away
from our studies and enjoy Florida’s warm weather and sandy beaches. This week Johnny Deere was seen fully
outfitted in his fishing gear, casting down the hallways of the dorms. What he thought he was going to catch is
still a mystery to all. All I could say
is that the long Fredonia winter has driven him crazy, being deprived of his country
roots. Next time you see Hunter walking
around campus in his wrangler jeans and cowboy boots make sure you give him a
shout out, ”Johnny Deere!!”
