Hello all this is #5 Zach White checking in on the blog this
week from your Fredonia State hockey team.
After a few days off this weekend it was nice to get rested
up from all of the school work and hockey in the past weeks. With the 2 days off it was nice that I was
able to go home and attend a Darius Rucker concert as well as spend some time
with my family. However, today the alarm
sounded early to start off one of the most important weeks of the season
leading into our first playoff game. The
boys are looking forward to start our playoff run with a huge week of practice
rolling into our weekend against Brockport and Geneseo. Along with the thought of this weekend’s
games at the top of everything, this week is also the start of another rigorous
week of classes and schoolwork for everyone.
Monday’s are one of my longest days of the week, bright and early I
start with Calculus and have 2 other classes along with a chemistry lab, with
teammate Mitch Kaufmann, who is the TA for the lab. After lab, Mitch and I head over to the rink
to get prepared for practice, leading in to the rest of our night.
Well wish me luck on this busy Monday,
